In April 2002, Margaret and Laura Pratt opened Calm, a friendly and busy hair and beauty salon, offering its clientele and West Linton a welcome escape and great service. Since then the business has gone from strength to strength with an ever expanding customer base and a demand for a wider range of services and treatments.

 

In response to this Margaret and Laura made the decision to begin an exciting new project that will offer their existing and prospective clients the high level and range of services they desire.

 

On the 7th March 2008 Calm re-launched with a luxurious and more spacious Hair Salon and Beauty Spa, offering a wide range of new body treatments and spa packages, including a hydro bath, luxury pedicure chair, steam shower and relaxation area.

 

In addition to this Calm also offers Croft Loft – a contemporary apartment, offering 3 individually designed bedrooms, gorgeous living and dining room area and beautiful bathrooms. The apartment can sleep up to 8 people and offers a wonderful refuge to anyone wanting to escape busy city life or to extend a spa day to a spa weekend. Set in the tranquil and beautiful surroundings of West Linton, a conservation village in the Scottish Borders and only a stones throw away from Edinburgh.
